ABOUT ME
Mr Selvan graduated from University of Liverpool with Honours.
He successfully completed his specialist training in Trauma and Orthopaedics in the Mersey rotation and attained his Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons. Mr Selvan then completed his specialist knee fellowship in Manchester.
Mr Selvan currently works at Southport and Ormskirk NHS Trust as a Consultant in Trauma and Orthopaedics with a special interest in knee surgery.
Mr Selvan currently consults at Renacres Hall and Fulwood Hall private Hospitals, part of the Ramsay Group in the Northwest.
Mr Selvan is very keen on patient outcomes following hip and knee replacements and is the lead for the Enhanced Recovery program in his NHS practice.
Mr Selvan has a very keen interest in teaching and training doctors and allied health professional and is the Royal College tutor in his NHS practice and is recognised GMC trainer. Mr Selvan is also a Member of the Faculty of Surgical Trainers of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh which is attained for outstanding training in surgery. He is also a course director for Advanced Trauma Life Support courses.

PRIVATE PRACTICE
Mr Selvan's private practice is based at Renacres Hospital, just outside Southport and Fulwood Hall Hospital, just outside Preston. Both are part of the Ramsay Hospitals Group.
Mr Selvan is happy to see patients via their insurance companies, self-paying basis or NHS choose and book pathway.
Mr Selvan's Renacres clinics are on alternate Wednesdays . Private patient only clinics are also available for bookings on Thursday evenings and alternate Monday evenings for your convenience.
Mr Selvan's Fulwood clinics are on a Thursday morning every week.

NHS PRACTICE
Mr Selvan's NHS work is based at Southport and Ormskirk Hospitals, now part of the Mersey and West Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.
Most of the clinics are based at Southport and Formby District General hospital on a Friday and all the planned operations are undertaken at Ormskirk District General hospital on a Tuesday.
